These terms are an agreement between Enviola Labs ("we", "us") and the merchant who installs Ledger Badger ("you"). By installing or using the app, you agree to them.
What the app does
Ledger Badger reads your Shopify Payments payouts and the orders inside them, explains each payout, and produces summaries you can download. It is read only: it does not change your store, move money, or post entries to accounting software.
Not tax or accounting advice
Ledger Badger organizes data that Shopify provides. It is not tax, legal or accounting advice, and it is not a substitute for an accountant. Suggested account names and journal previews are starting points. Have a qualified professional review how your business records and reports these amounts, and check figures against your Shopify reports before relying on them for tax filings.
Accuracy
We work hard to make every payout add up to the cent, and the app flags payouts it cannot fully explain instead of guessing. Results depend on the data Shopify provides, which can be incomplete or change after the fact. You are responsible for reviewing results before using them.
Plans and billing
Any paid plan is billed through Shopify, on the terms shown when you approve the charge. You can cancel at any time by uninstalling the app or changing plans in the app. Charges already billed are not refunded unless Shopify's policies or the law require it.
Your responsibilities
- Use the app only for stores you are authorized to manage.
- Don't misuse the app, interfere with it, or try to access other merchants' data.
- Keep your Shopify account secure.
Data
Your data stays yours. We handle it as described in the Ledger Badger Privacy Policy.
Availability and changes
We may update the app, add or remove features, or change these terms. If we make a significant change to these terms, we will update the date above and let you know in the app. If we ever discontinue the app, we will give at least 30 days' notice so you can download your summaries.
Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Enviola Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits, penalties or taxes, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend access if these terms are broken. Data deletion after uninstall works as described in the privacy policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States.
